This is a watercolor reimagining of Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring." It was awarded a Gold Addy and Judge's Choice Addy at the 2016 Central Minnesota chapter of the American Advertising Federation's Addy Awards.
The painting in top left is Johannes Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring." The other pictures are visual research into dress and customs of women in the Efik tribe of southeast Nigeria.
