Avani Tea is a faux tea company created for this student package design project. Though the brief didn't call for secondary or tertiary packaging, I wanted to challenge myself and push the creative boundary. I decided on a tea company that was heavily focused on being good for the earth with a brand identity that paid homage to the culture from which its name is derived. "Avani" is Hindi for "earth," so many of the branding assets utilized mandalas and earthy tones and textures.
This project was awarded a Gold Addy at the 2017 AAF Central Minnesota Addy Awards.
